The play, “Tuesdays With Morrie,” is adapted from the novel by Mitch Albom, the inspirational book that was on The New York Times Bestseller List for more than four years. The play portrays Albom’s autobiographical story of a career-obsessed journalist and his former college professor, Morrie Schwartz. Sixteen years after graduation, Mitch catches Morrie’s appearance on a television news program and learns that his old professor is dying of an incurable disease. Mitch is reunited with Morrie, and what starts as a simple visit turns into a weekly pilgrimage and a “last class” in the meaning of life.
The musical, “Little Women,” invites its audience to join the March sisters: Jo, Meg, Beth and Amy, as one of America’s most beloved books soars to the stage. Starring Maureen McGovern direct from Broadway, this new musical, based on Louisa May Alcott’s timeless tale about the power of family, friendship and romance, is for audiences of all ages.
