The Center for Business Excellence will offer several programs in January. A 33 percent discount is available to UST alumni and a 75 percent discount is available to UST faculty and staff. Mini MBA in Health Care Management

Thursday evenings, Jan. 18 to April 19, 2007

Working in the business aspects of health care becomes more challenging every day. Many clinicians such as physicians, nurses, pharmacists and others are being asked to assume increased administrative responsibilities. The Mini MBA in Health Care Management will provide not only a broad overview of contemporary business, management and leadership skills, but it also will equip participants with tools they can use to advance their organizations.

Mini MBA for Nonprofit Organizations

Friday afternoons, Jan. 19 to April 27, or Wednesday evenings, Jan. 25 to April 25, 2007

Our popular Mini MBA for Nonprofit Organizations Program provides an overview of issues and topics relevant to nonprofit organizations. Participants will develop the knowledge and skills needed to build success in the nonprofit sector.

Monday-Friday, Jan. 22-26, 2007

Through the Mini Master of Project Management, participants will learn how to manage the scope, time, cost and performance issues of small and large projects to deliver a project(s) on time and within budget.

Computer Security Fundamentals

Thursday and Friday, Jan. 25 and 26, 2007

This program surveys the broad topic of computer security, including cryptographic building blocks, cryptographic protocols, application security, firewalls, intrusion detection, and research topics. It also explores the human side of computer security and the tension between these considerations and the engineering issues.

Mini Master of Marketing Management
