The Center for Writing has launched a new online appointment system, “Oasys,” which sounds like “oasis” and stands for online appointment system. There’s no need for writers to call or stop by; you can now make an appointment online 24-7 to see a consultant in Room 361, John R. Roach Center for the Liberal Arts.
Here’s how it works:
- Go to the center's website and click on “Schedule an appointment now.”
- Select a service, such as “General” consulting.
- Choose a day from the calendar and then a particular time you’d like to come in.
- Register online with Oasys as a new user.
You’ll receive an e-mail confirming your appointment, and you can reschedule or cancel your appointment online, too. You can also call for an appointment during our open hours, or stop in.
Remember: You don’t need to have a draft to see a consultant, but you should bring your assignment and any notes you have made.
The center is open from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Mondays through Thursdays, and 9 a.m. to noon Fridays.
