Please mark your calendars for IRT’s Sunday change management events for the 2012-13 academic year. Change management takes place from 6 a.m. to noon Sundays, typically once per month, allowing IRT administrators to make important updates to servers and infrastructure, including hardware and software changes, updates and security patches.
Change management events are scheduled in coordination with system owners and users from the community to minimize the impact to constituents. IRT often will be required to make changes outside of these scheduled events due to emergencies, to meet a particular service need, or that will take longer than the regular Sunday outage window. IRT will communicate specifics about larger changes via the Newsroom and on our website.
During an event, most enterprise systems, including email, department storage, Banner and Blackboard, will be unavailable. Please check IRT’s website the week prior to a change management event for more specific information about the systems that will be down. Join us on Facebook or Twitter for even more updates.

In addition to the Sunday outage this weekend, Murphy Online will be unavailable this Saturday, September 22 between the hours of 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. for maintenance.
