'Commerce and Conscience' is topic of Master's Pub Feb. 27

Jeff Peterson '00 MBC, director of community relations and social change at Best Buy Inc., will speak at the next event in the Master's Pub Business Conversations series. His topic is "Commerce and Conscience."

Graduate business students are invited to this session from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. Friday, Feb. 27, in Room 201, Opus Hall, Minneapolis campus. Light food and beverages will be available.

In his role at Best Buy Inc., Peterson sets charitable giving, employee citizenship, and social change strategies for the global leader of technology and entertainment products and services. He leads a team that develops and implements the company's philanthropic efforts in the United States, including local and national initiatives of the Best Buy Children's Foundation, most recently founding and launching @15, a social change platform empowering teens.
