Criminal justice majors and those who are thinking about a career in law enforcement are invited to attend a law enforcement information session tomorrow, sponsored by the Department of Sociology and Criminal Justice.
The session will provide students with information about the process for becoming a licensed peace officer in Minnesota. Also covered will be the Law Enforcement Program in the Sociology and Criminal Justice Department, and the various requirements to earn a peace officer license; in addition, guest speakers will share their experiences completing skills programs.
The meeting will be held from 11:45 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 29, in Room 454, O’Shaughnessy Educational Center. Refreshments will be provided.
