The UST Dance Team will host a clinic for dancers in kindergarten through eighth grade on Saturday, Dec. 5, followed by the opportunity to show off their skills as they perform for halftime at a University of St. Thomas men’s basketball game.
The clinic will be held from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. in the third-floor gym of O’Shaughnessy Hall. Classes will be divided by age and taught by members of the UST Dance Team. The event will include a break for fun, games and a rehearsal for the halftime performance.
The basketball game begins at 3 p.m. the same day vs. St. Olaf at Macalester College's Leonard Center (Building No. 11). (UST home games will be played off campus this season due to the construction of the Anderson Athletic and Recreation Complex.)
Registration is $35 per dancer and includes a free clinic T-shirt, a signed UST Dance Team poster and complimentary admission to the basketball game; parents and spectators will have to purchase a ticket to the game.
