Emily Kindelspire

Kindelspire is a Justice and Peace Studies and Family Studies double major and Women’s Studies minor. She has served as a student director for VISION, participating in five trips, as well as a FEMCOM facilitator and Green Dot trainee.

One of her nominators wrote, “She is one of the most intentional students I have ever encountered and deliberately and effectively ensures each person she encounters from day to day is reminded of their dignity as well as their importance in our human community. … She is what UST strives to be.”

The selection committee chose Kindelspire from a field of 15 outstanding applicants. Each applicant submitted a two-page outline of their speech, which the committee used to narrow down to the finalists. Each finalist presented their full speech to the committee. The committee is grateful to all of the nominators and nominees for their submissions.
