Each fall and spring term the Exempt Staff Council will organize a meeting with exempt (salaried) staff at St. Thomas. Meetings will be held on topics that constituents propose as hot topics.
Based on feedback from the April 2009 exempt staff meeting, suggestions indicated a need to learn more about the performance appraisal system at UST and how an employee is designated as exempt vs. non-exempt. It also was suggested that there be an opportunity at the meeting to ask general questions of Human Resources. In response to these requests, guest speakers Julie Schwalbach and Peter Ronza will discuss these topics at the fall meeting Wednesday, Sept. 23.
The meeting will be simulcast from 1 to 3 p.m. at both the Minneapolis (Room 201, Opus Hall) and St. Paul (Room 304, Murray-Herrick Campus Center) campuses.
