Facilities Scheduling to report to Linda Halverson

The arrivals of Mark Vangsgard as our vice president for business affairs and CFO and Linda Halverson as my executive assistant provided an opportunity to review the goals, processes and organizational structure related to the ever-increasing importance of the St. Paul campus Facilities Scheduling department, which includes the responsibility of scheduling academic classrooms.

That review is complete, and I have accepted Mark Vangsgard's recommendation that the goals of Facilities Scheduling can be more effectively implemented with a change in the reporting relationship of that department. As such, effective Aug. 15, the Facilities Scheduling department led by Dan Taylor will report to Linda Halverson, who currently is responsible for other space-related topics on campus.
