Family of missing former St. Thomas student asks for your help in trying to find him

A former St. Thomas student has been missing for a week, and his family asks for your help in trying to find him.

Scott Michael Tridgell, 23, last was a student at St. Thomas in fall 2005. His family has filed a missing persons report with the Edina Police Department.

Tridgell left his townhouse in Edina last Wednesday for his job in the accounting department of Lunds. He has not been seen since. His family is worried that he might have amnesia due to a serious fall he had last winter. After that fall he suffered amnesia and was missing briefly, and has suffered memory problems. In the days before he disappeared, he hadn't been feeling well, and his family and friends wonder if he was still feeling the effects of the concussion and four other concussions he had while playing sports over the years.

Tridgell is 5 feet, 11 inches tall, 140 pounds, and has dark blond hair and hazel eyes. He usually wears glasses and may be dressed in a shirt and tie and light brown shoes.   He might be driving a 1996 black Toyota Tacoma pickup with no topper; it had extensive hail damage. It has a Minnesota license plate LJB 662.  Police said there has been no activity on his credit cards or his cell phone.

If you can provide any information about Tridgell's whereabouts, please call Detective Mike Lutz in the Edina Police Department, (952) 826-1600.
