Feminists in Faith hold first discussion Friday
The Luann Dummer Center for Women will offer the first of its spring Feminists in Faith programs, "The Spirituality of Sustainability," on Friday, Feb. 20.
Participants will meet from noon to 1 p.m. in the women's center, Room 103, O'Shaughnessy Educational Center.
A short DVD will be shown that tells the stories of four women living in locations around the globe who are affected disproportionately by climate change. As a kind of spiritual exercise, a discussion will follow on what individuals can do in their own lives to live in solidarity with these women.
The program is free and open to everyone. Bring your lunch; cookies and beverages will be provided.
