The “Looking Forward to Retirement” seminar will interest employees who are about five to 10 years away from retirement. The facilitator will walk participants through each area of pre-retirement and discuss matters of relevance for planning retirement income. Proper planning for those years is essential to ensure that you will have the income needed to live the lifestyle for which you are hoping. Participants will receive assistance in creating an action plan to help prepare for retirement.

This workshop will help you:

  • Understand expenses in retirement years
  • Understand medical options that will be available
  • Learn characteristics of sources of income, such as Social Security, workplace savings plans, pensions, etc.
  • Perform proper retirement income planning
  • Establish an emergency fund

The “Understanding the Importance of Diversification” seminar will interest employees who want to know if their portfolios are adequately diversified within the asset classes. This workshop begins by having participants compare their current asset allocation with the results of their Asset Allocation Planner worksheet. Participants can then learn about the role sub-asset classes play in their portfolios and the benefits of appropriate diversification. Various investment options will be discussed to help give participants a better sense of which categories of investments may help balance their retirement portfolios.

This workshop will help you:
