Film Night tomorrow presents 'The Murder of Emmett Till'
Don't miss seeing the movie, "The Murder of Emmett Till," on Film Night tomorrow, Tuesday, Nov. 7, in the Room 126 (auditorium), John R. Roach Center for the Liberal Arts.
The film will begin promptly at 7:30 p.m., followed by an interactive discussion facilitated by Dr. Buffy Smith, Sociology Department. This event is free. Fresh popcorn and complimentary gifts will be provided.
The purpose of Film Night is to highlight unknown or marginalized heroes who have dedicated their lives to equality and social justice. The night's discussion helps to promote dialogue about marginalized issues in American history.
The next Film Night will be held on Tuesday, Dec. 5; same time, same place. All films are educational and issues-based.
