The Undergraduate Student Government (USG) will hold elections for several open positions:
- Freshman class president
- Freshman class senators (two)
- Freshman residential senator
- Residential senator (sophomore, junior or senior)
Election packets are available online or at the Campus Life office in Room 325, Anderson Student Center. A short mandatory meeting for all who plan to run for a position will be held at noon Thursday, Sept. 12, in Room 235, Anderson Student Center.
Voting will begin at 9 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 18, and will conclude at 8 p.m. Friday, Sept. 20. Students who are elected to USG must attend a mandatory USG retreat on Saturday and Sunday, Sept. 28-29.
The Undergraduate Student Government (USG) is the student governing body of the university. Composed of 40 representatives, the USG acts as the voice of the student body. USG members work with faculty, staff, administration and other students to promote positive change and foster St. Thomas tradition in an effort to provide students with an exceptional college experience.
