In 2010 the second annual Fowler Business Concept Challenge awarded more than $65,000 in scholarships to graduate and undergraduate students at the University of St. Thomas. Students enrolled for fall semester 2011 can learn more about taking part in this year’s competition by attending an information session at 11:45 a.m. tomorrow, Tuesday, April 19, in Room 114, McNeely Hall.
The last Fowler Business Concept Challenge was open to all UST students registered for fall 2010, including undergraduate, graduate and doctoral students. In addition to students from the Opus College of Business, winners included undergraduate teams from the College of Arts and Sciences.
Focused on energizing the entrepreneurial spirit of UST students across campuses and colleges, the Fowler Business Concept Challenge asks students to develop a business concept that has the potential to become a viable high-growth business. The teams that submit the winning business competition in each of two divisions (undergraduate and graduate) receive University of St. Thomas scholarships.
