In an effort to promote geocaching, a high-tech treasure hunt and physical activity, the Wellness Center is “renting” basic GPS units free of charge to students. The hunt to find the new geocaches will begin today, Monday, May 7.
The coordinates to the first cache are: N 44° 56.527; W 093° 11.456.
The Wellness Center, located in Room 113, lower level of Koch Commons, will hide several caches throughout the month. The first person to find all of them will get free movie tickets.

Basics of geocaching
In geocaching, someone hides a box (cache) and then puts the geographic coordinates online. Searchers use those coordinates and a GPS to find the hidden cache. Most caches contain a log as a record of who found the cache.
