Great Books Reading Group to discuss Farm, by Richard Rhodes
St. Thomas' Great Books Reading Group will discuss Farm: A Year in the Life of an American Farmer, by Richard Rhodes, on Wednesday, June 10.
The group will meet from 7 to 9 p.m. in Room 388, Owens Science Hall. A parking permit is not required during the summer.
The Great Books Reading Group tentative schedule:
- Wednesday, July 8: Will in the World: How Shakespeare Became Shakespeare, by Stephen Greenblatt
- Wednesday, Aug. 5: The Portrait of a Lady, by Henry James
- September: Another Sort of Learning, by Father James Schall, S.J.
- October: Fatherless, by Brian J. Gail
Everyone is welcome; refreshments are served. The books are available in the University of St. Thomas Bookstore. Look for the Great Books poster near the customer service desk.
