Here's your chance to host a radio show

From Dr. Ellen Riordan, Communication Studies Department

Ever dreamed about hosting your own radio show? Now's your chance.

KUST campus radio is soliciting proposals from students, staff and faculty for January Term and spring semester. We're looking for innovative and diverse programming, ranging from pre-recorded music to issue-oriented talk shows.

Send in your proposals (and any questions) via e-mail to KUST@stthomas.edu by 5 p.m. Monday, Dec. 11.

Please include the following information:

  1. Name of proposed show
  2. Name and e-mail address for DJ(s) or host(s)
  3. Brief description of show and format (approximately 100 words)
  4. List four to five musical artists featured on your show
  5. State why you think your show would be a great addition to the KUST schedule
  6. Include start date (J-Term or spring semester)
  7. Include three alternate time slots you'd be interested in hosting (late afternoon and evening slots are very competitive)

Shows usually run each week for two hours at 8 a.m. and 2 a.m.
