A six-member Higher Learning Commission peer review team will be on campus Nov. 11–13. This site visit is the next step in the reaccreditation process.
The visiting HLC team will seek to validate evidence St. Thomas has presented in its self-study report of how well the university meets the HLC Criteria. Our self-study report represents two and a half years of research, writing and revisions by several campuswide committees along with important feedback from faculty, staff, students, and administrators through draft review opportunities and two sets of open forums held in fall 2012 and spring 2013.
While on campus the team will have more than 50 different meetings with faculty, staff, students, administrators and community members. They will hold open meetings for alumni, faculty, staff and students at the following locations:
Minneapolis Campus Meetings – All held in Thornton Auditorium
- Alumni Open Meeting – Monday, Nov. 11, at 5 p.m.
- Faculty Open Meeting – Tuesday, Nov. 12, at 4 p.m.
- Staff Open Meeting – Monday, Nov. 11, at 4 p.m.
- Student Open Meeting – Tuesday, Nov. 12, at 5 p.m.
St. Paul Campus Meetings
- Alumni Open Meeting – Monday, Nov. 11, at 5 p.m. in Woulfe Hall, Anderson Student Center (ASC)
- Faculty Open Meeting – Tuesday, Nov. 12, at 4 p.m. in the 3M Auditorium, Owens Science Hall (OWS)
- Staff Open Meeting – Monday, Nov. 11, at 4 p.m. in Woulfe Hall, Anderson Student Center (ASC)
