Hire our students!
Many of you may have heard the good news: We have a large freshman class this year. What this means from an HR perspective and for the UST Student Employment Program is that approximately 200 more students have been offered the opportunity to seek on-campus employment. This also means that a larger number of student jobs will be needed. Here's how you can help.
If your unit plans to hire student employees for the academic year, please try to provide as many students as possible the chance to work. For example, if your unit has a need for 20 hours of student employment, hire two or three students instead of only one to fill that need. Students already have begun looking for jobs for the fall.
Please be sure to define your student employment opportunity and then post it as early as possible, by visiting the Student Employment Web site. If you need help with the student employment process, feel free to contact Susan McDougall in HR, (651) 962-6518.
We are counting on your help and support to make this a great year for all St. Thomas students.
