Will it rain on our homecoming parade … and our Purple on Plaza pre-game festivities?
No one knows for sure right now, but the Alumni Association and Student Affairs are making contingency plans just in case.
On its website, the Alumni Association notes: “The rain plan will be determined for the 5K Wellness Run and the parade by 7 a.m. and the pre-game festivities will be determined by 9 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 13, and if necessary some events will be moved indoors to the field house. If there are no updates, assume that the events will remain outdoors.”
Kickoff for the homecoming football game against Bethel University is 1:10 p.m. At stake is first place in the MIAC. Both teams are 5-0 on the season and 3-0 in the MIAC.
