Food, Freebies, Fun Abound at 17th Annual HR Fair Feb 23, 24

The University of St. Thomas Human Resources Department team invites all employees to the 2011 HR Fair. This year’s theme is “Let’s Get Physical,” to commemorate UST’s new Employee Wellness Program. Mark your calendars to attend one of the following sessions:

  • Minneapolis campus: 11:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 23, in Rooms 201 and 202, Opus Hall
  • St. Paul campus: 11:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 24, in Room 304, Murray-Herrick Campus Center

As usual, there will be opportunities to win door prizes provided by vendors while at the same time learning about the variety of HR offerings for employees. HR’s big prize this year is an Amazon Kindle.

Among the activities that you can look forward to when you attend the HR Fair are:

  • Food and drink – for sustenance
  • Vendor giveaways – for fun
  • Chair massages – for relaxation
  • Eye exams – for better sight
  • Spinal assessments – for “straight-up” knowledge

Also, pick up your 2010 Personal Total Compensation Report and other useful HR information. Bring your UST ID to obtain the report.

Vendors will be available to answer questions, enroll individuals in benefits programs, offer opportunities for educational sessions, and hand out freebies. This year, the HR staff welcomes a larger number of vendors to the HR Fair:
