Artika Tyner, St. Thomas law professor and founding director of the Center on Race, Leadership and Social Justice, spoke with the Star Tribune on working to boost literacy and close opportunity gaps.
Tyner was recently awarded a Bush Foundation fellowship, which she hopes to focus on boosting literacy rates and access to books, melting away racial disparities in the process.
