No question about it, winners know UST well

Joe Ring's correct answer to Question No. 8 may not be worth a million dollars, but it may be worth a UST coffee mug.

Ring, an undergraduate student, was the fifth person to respond correctly to  the “How well do you know UST?” question posed Wednesday by Institutional Research and Analysis: "Which county in the 10-county metro area had a fall 2009 total undergraduate and graduate enrollment of 572?" Final answer: Anoka County.

In addition, Nate Wundrow, circulation supervisor and reserves coordinator at the O'Shaughnessy-Frey Library Center, is the  winner of January's monthly drawing for a UST coffee mug. Ring and others who correctly answer the weekly questions posed by IR&A during February are eligible for this month's coffee mug drawing.

Ann Kenne, head of the Special Collections Department and university archivist, and Rick Hendrickson, client services, O'Shaughnessy Educational Center, each won an iPod Nano for providing new evidence related to enrollment at UST in 1885. This contest was announced last December in Bulletin Today. This new evidence is being forwarded to the President's Council for further discussion.
