Intellectual property subject of Entre Today breakfast Sept. 28

Peter Forrest, a partner at Moore and Hansen, a Minneapolis law firm specializing in intellectual property law, will be the guest speaker in the UST Center for Business Excellence Entre Today breakfast series from 7:30 to 9 a.m. Friday, Sept. 28, in Room 201, Opus Hall, on the Minneapolis campus.

Discounts are provided for students, staff and faculty.

Forrest will examine how intellectual property, a key incentive for attracting entrepreneurial investment and participation in the idea-based sectors of the economy, has experienced more changes in the past five years than in the previous 50. Is the intellectual property system collapsing under its own weight?

Forrest will survey the recent key legal developments from a business perspective and lay out possible strategies for the future. There may not be any clear-cut answers, but this session can help you prepare for whatever may come later.

The Entre Today series is designed to meet the needs of busy entrepreneurs. It provides current information presented by experts and an opportunity to network.
