Interested in special events planning?
Two members of the International Special Events Society executive board will speak at the next Communication Club meeting from 11:45 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 10, in Room 247, John R. Roach Center for the Liberal Arts.
The speakers will address how to get involved with a professional organization, such as ISES, and how that can provide valuable career information and put you in touch with people who can help you get started in the field. Special event planning is a field with many opportunities; come and ask questions.
If you want to become a student member of ISES, the local chapter is offering a scholarship to a UST student to join the organization; details will be shared at this meeting.
