Students in Free Enterprise, an international organization that focuses on improving the community by using the skills students have learned in college, is looking for students who want to help change the world.
Madeline Kapler, president, invites all students to join SIFE and work on projects such as:
- Improving sustainability with SIFE’s Sam’s Club Challenge.
- Making a difference with single mothers searching for jobs in SIFE’s Empowerment Project.
- Feeding the hungry with Campbell’s Let’s Can Hunger Challenge.
- Traveling internationally to help empower the people of Uganda.
"At SIFE, you can be a part of something that makes a difference in so many lives – all while gaining knowledge, work and team experience," Kapler said. "This is an exciting year for us as we will be traveling to Chicago next spring for our regional competition. This event provides numerous networking opportunities with sponsoring companies, along with leadership training and great guest speakers."
"At SIFE, we are changing the world," Kapler added, "and we invite others to join us."
To learn more about SIFE, attend its meeting from 11:45 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 10, in Room 228, McNeely Hall. For more information email Kapler.
