Lacrosse team tops national poll
The St. Thomas club lacrosse team garnered 18 of 25 first place votes and the No. 1 ranking along with them in the most recent Men's Collegiate Lacrosse Association Division II poll.
The Toms will carry that ranking into their first home game of the season: 9:15 p.m. Saturday, March 7, at Augsburg College vs. UW-Eau Claire.
The team remains undefeated this season, 3-0 overall, earning victories over Westminster, 17-7, and Savannah College of Art and Design, 11-5, in Atlanta, Ga., last weekend. A snowstorm canceled a third game.
