The presentation and discussion, hosted by the Learning Technology Program, will be held from 6:30 to 8 p.m. in Room 150, 3M Auditorium, Owens Science Hall.
Snacks and drinks will be served at 6:15 p.m. while guests have time to network. The event is free and open to the public; registration is not required.
About the program
In this presentation, Case will attempt to define what "cloud computing" is really about, and what are the practical impacts to developers and project stakeholders. The presentation will break "cloud computing" into three categories and discuss each of those in detail. He'll then uncover some of the potential disadvantages and how to avoid them; in addition, Case will share code snippets and screen shots of some of the management consoles.
