Father Paul Murray, O.P., will present a lecture, “Aquinas at Prayer: The Life of a Mystic at Campus,” on Thursday, Sept. 17.
The event, which will be held at 7:30 p.m. in O’Shaughnessy Educational Center auditorium, is free and open to the public.
Murray is an Irish Dominican, a poet and a professor at the University of St. Thomas (Angelicum) in Rome, where he teaches in the Catholic Studies/Angelicum program.
He is the author of several books that have been published in Ireland, England and the United States, including: The New Wine of Dominican Spirituality: A Drink Called Happiness; A Journey with Jonah; The Spirituality of Bewilderment; T.S. Eliot and Mysticism: The Secret History of ‘Four Quartets’; and four collections of poetry.
Murray lives in Rome and is well-known as a speaker throughout the United States.
