The libraries of St. Thomas are now officially a part of the AskMN 24/7 cooperative online reference service.
Whenever St. Thomas librarians are unavailable to answer questions that have been sent via the “Ask-A-Librarian” link on the UST Libraries website or via the purple chat link that appears when individuals search the libraries’ databases, those questions will be forwarded automatically to a librarian monitoring the service.
That librarian might be from Hamline University or from the University of Delhi in India, but AskMN librarians have access to UST resources and can answer many questions.
If the remote librarians are unable to answer a question, they will transfer the question back to the UST AskMN coordinator for reply on the next day.
