Jump Start Your Metabolism
If losing a few pounds is your goal, then check out Jump Start Your Metabolism on Thursday, Jan. 13. This program emphasizes a healthier, saner approach for lifelong weight control. You’ll learn how eating real foods in balance can help you lose weight and eliminate cravings. This class is for anyone who wants to lose weight or maintain a healthy weight.
Strength Training for Women
Is getting fit part of your resolution for the New Year? Getting stronger is a great way to increase your metabolism and improve your fitness level. Strength Training for Women, offered on Thursday, Jan. 6, will help you discover the benefits of weight training and teach you proper form and the technique involved in a variety of resistance exercises. This program also will help you become familiar with the equipment in the strength room in the Anderson Athletic and Recreation Complex.
Customer Focused Writing
Do your goals include improving your professional skills? Customer Focused Writing is offered on Thursday, Jan. 6, to help you improve the quality and positive impact of writing to internal and external customers. Written communications can help you inform and build loyalty with faculty, deans, parents and others. This course will help you structure communications effectively and project a responsive, professional image.
