Master's Pub: 'Retail Medicine

Master's Pub: 'Retail Medicine: What Business Leaders Should Know' is Nov. 30

The topic of the second session in the Master's Pub Business Conversations series is "Retail Medicine: What Business Leaders Should Know About This Emerging Trend in Health Care," presented by Michael Howe, chief executive officer of MinuteClinic.

Graduate business students are invited to the discussion from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. Friday, Nov. 30, in Room 252, Terrence Murphy Hall, Minneapolis campus. Light food and beverages will be available.

Strategic leadership has grown the MinuteClinic concept from 19 clinics in two states to more than 225 clinics in 20 states. As former president and CEO of Arby's Inc., Howe steered that company through a challenging turnaround during his 4.5-year tenure. He recently was recognized by Fast Company magazine as one of the top 50 people who will change how Americans work and live over the next 10 years.
