Two Medal Winners to Present Essays at Philosophy Colloquium April 26

The top two winners of the annual Thomas D. Sullivan Medal in Philosophy essay contest for undergraduates will present their essays at the Philosophy Colloquium Thursday, April 26:

  • Madeleine Coulter, first place, “Is Abortion in Cases of Pregnancies Due to Rape Morally Permissible?”
  • Scott Valentyn, second place, “Critique of ‘The Ship of Theseus’”

Prior to the talks, Dr. Thomas Sullivan will present medals to the speakers.

This last colloquium of the academic year will be held from noon to 1:15 p.m. in Room 401, John R. Roach Center for the Liberal Arts. Everyone is welcome.
