MSW student asks non-social work undergrads to participate in online research survey

Amy Salvey, a student in the joint College of St. Catherine and University of St. Thomas Master of Social Work program, is conducting a survey as part of her research. Her question for non-social work undergraduate students to answer online is: What do you know about social work?

This research study is intended to further the existing knowledge about public perceptions of social work. By getting a better understanding of what the public knows about social work, professional social workers will understand what people actually know and clear up any misconceptions that exist about what social workers do.

Participants can be entered into a drawing for a free $5 Caribou Coffee gift card. Copy and paste this Web link into your browser to access the survey and drawing for the Caribou Coffee gift card.

The UST Institutional Review Board has approved Salvey's study and her request for participants via Bulletin Today.
