Multicultural Forum wins national recognition

The Multicultural Forum on Workplace Diversity, a partnership of the Twin Cities chapter of the National Black MBA Association and St. Thomas' Opus College of Business, has been recognized by the National MultiCultural Institute in Washington, D.C.

The forum will be recognized for its work to build diverse and inclusive communities and workplaces at NMCI's 24th annual spring Diversity Leadership Institute at 5:30 p.m. Thursday, April 26, at the Radisson Plaza Hotel Minneapolis.

The forum first was convened in 1989 as a local teleconference and has expanded to more than 2,300 participants this year.

"We at the forum are humbled by this recognition and pledge to continue to produce, at future forums, the same high-caliber, cutting-edge workplace diversity training that has brought this recognition to us," said Steve Humerickhouse, director of the Multicultural Forum on Workplace Diversity.
