Music in the Library annual St. Cecilia concert features the UST Guitar Ensemble
Music in the Library presents its eighth annual concert in honor of St. Cecilia from noon to 1 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 20, in the O'Shaughnessy Room (also known as the "Leather Room"), Room 108, O'Shaughnessy-Frey Library Center.
The UST Guitar Ensemble, under the direction of Joan Griffith, will perform a variety of classical, jazz and Latin-style works in this free event. Bring your lunch; light refreshments will be provided.
St. Cecilia, a virgin martyr of the early Church whose feast day is Nov. 22, has been honored as the patron saint of music since the late 15th century.
