Register for Hubbs Children's Literature Conference

The Hubbs Children's Literature Conference returns on Feb. 24. Join the School of Education for featured author talks with V.T. Bidania and Juana Martinez-Neal as well as an author panel. For over 30 years, the University of St. Thomas has proudly hosted the annual Hubbs Children's Literature Conference. All are welcome, including teachers, parents, students, librarians, writers and anyone interested in encouraging the use of quality children's literature in homes, schools and communities. Faculty and Staff: Take the Age-Friendly Campus Survey

Faculty and staff are invited to participate in a survey regarding age-friendly campus practices and inclusivity at the University of St. Thomas. Funded by an Age-Friendly Minnesota community grant from the state of Minnesota, the survey explores how St. Thomas welcomes the participation of older adults in our university. The feedback you provide will be used to inform programming and planning around age-friendly campus practices.

Active Shooter Preparedness and Response Training

Active shooter incidents are often unpredictable and evolve quickly. Amid the chaos, anyone can play an integral role in mitigating the impacts of an active shooter incident. This training, led by Brian Rich, emergency manager for the University of St. Thomas, aims to enhance incident preparedness. Several sessions will be offered on the St. Paul and Minneapolis campuses from Jan. 17-30. Register here.
