Nominations accepted for Distinguished Educator and William B. Malevich awards

The Undergraduate Student Government invites nominations for the annual Distinguished Educator and William B. Malevich awards.

Packets for nomination are available outside the Leadership Room, Room 111, in Murray-Herrick Campus Center. Students are encouraged to take this opportunity to recognize their favorite teachers, administrators and staff members for their contributions to the improvement of the St. Thomas community.

Nominations for the awards are due by 4 p.m. tomorrow, Friday, April 24. Drop off the nominations at the USG office, Room 111, Murray-Herrick Campus Center.

Here is a brief explanation of each award:

  • William B. Malevich Award – Initiated in 1989, the USG recognizes the outstanding contributions to the St. Thomas community by an administrator or staff member.
  • Distinguished Educator Award – This award is presented each year by the USG to an outstanding faculty member who makes a difference on campus and in the lives of students.
