Are you interested in historical figures such as Gandhi, Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. and Jesus? Do you dream of a world with peace, not war? Would you like to obtain skills to peacefully bring about effective changes? If you answered yes to any or all of these questions then nonviolence training may be for you.
From 6 to 8 p.m. today, Wednesday, Nov. 9, in Room 100, McNeely Hall, students will have the opportunity to learn from Janet Chisholm, executive director of Creating Communities for Peace, the same skills that Gandhi, King and Jesus used to bring about positive social, economic and political changes.
The event is sponsored by Justice and Peace Studies. For more information email Dr. Mike Klein.
