Dr. Michael Andregg, Justice and Peace Studies Department, presented two lectures on "Environmental Stress and Conflict" at the 18th Nobel Peace Prize Forum March 11 at Luther College in Decorah, Iowa. Later this month he will chair two panels on "Intelligence Community Reform" and "Oversight" at a spy conference in California. In April, he will gives lectures on sustainable development at Pusan National University and to the Pusan Chamber of Commerce in South Korea.
Father Jan Michael Joncas, Theology and Catholic Studies departments, is the author of an article, "An Easter Alleluia: Music to Spark the Imagination in Paschaltide," in the March-April issue of the journal Preach (pages 25-30).
Joncas also will receive the
James Rogers, Center for Irish Studies, is the author of a review of Thomas Lynch's essay collection Booking Passage: We Irish and Americans (W.W. Norton and Co., 2005). The review was published in the Irish Literary Supplement, a biannual publication of Boston College Irish Studies. The review also discusses Lynch's poetry.
Nancy Norris-Weber, Child Development Center, recently presented a workshop, "Interest Areas and Sensory Activities for Infants and Toddlers," at the annual Minnesota Early Childhood Educators Conference at Concordia University.
