Dr. Ameeta Jaiswal-Dale, Opus College of Business, won the Best Paper Award for "U.S. Financial Institutions: Reputational Risk and Senior Management Sell Decisions," in January. She presented the paper at the International Business and Economy Conference in January in Udaipur, India. Also in January, Jaiswal-Dale juried the Executive MBA Research Projects for the 2008-2009 cohort of the L’École de Commerce Superieur d’Havre in Normandy, France. In November 2008 she served as external evaluator of research projects, which was funded by the Académie Universitaire. The Académie Universitaire includes the Université Catholique de Louvain Louvain-Neuve, Brussels, the Facultés Universitaires Notre-Dame de la Paix Namur, the Facultés Universitaires Catholiques de Mons and the Facultés Universitaires Saint-Louis, Brussels.
Sister Katarina Schuth, School of Divinity, conducted a workshop for 20 English-speaking rectors of European seminaries Feb. 5-7 at Maynooth University, near Dublin, Ireland. The topic was "Seminary Formation Practices and Trends." Her article, "Structuring a Viable Future for Parishes," was published in the March 2009, 25th anniversary issue of Church, a national pastoral leadership journal.
