Public Safety would like to advise the University of St. Thomas community of suspicious activity recently reported near St. Catherine University.
On the morning of Friday, Nov. 1, per an alert issued by the St. Catherine University Department of Public Safety, a suspicious object was found in a wooded area on the west side of their campus. The St. Paul Police Department was contacted. The SPPD Bomb Squad was dispatched and the object was destroyed without incident.
UST Public Safety would like to remind all community members to report suspicious activity, whether involving persons or objects, to Public Safety immediately.
