Public Safety Alert: Two Recent Incidents Near Minneapolis Campus

Public Safety would like to alert the University of St. Thomas community of two incidents recently reported by the Minneapolis Police Department via MPD Action Alerts.

At 1 p.m. Monday, July 29, MPD reported an unidentified victim’s phone was stolen by an unknown suspect at 10th Street and Harmon Place. The suspect approached the victim on a bicycle, grabbed her phone from her hand, and then fled the scene.

At 1:40 a.m. Tuesday, July 30, MPD reported an aggravated robbery on the 1200 block of Lasalle Avenue. An unidentified victim was robbed at knifepoint by an unknown suspect.

No further information is known in either of these incidents.
