Herb Tousley ’02 M.B.A., a real estate executive with extensive experience in commercial real estate, is the new director of the Master of Science in Real Estate Program and the Shenehon Center for Real Estate in the Opus College of Business at the University of St. Thomas.

Tousley has been an adjunct member of the Opus College of Business faculty since 2003.

Tousley’s experience includes work in multifamily, affordable housing, office, mixed use and retail properties; he has particular expertise in the areas of investments, financing, acquisition and operations.

Tousley comes to St. Thomas from Coldwell Banker Commercial Griffin Companies, where as senior vice president he was responsible for the acquisition and asset management of the company’s commercial properties.

From 2002 to 2007 he was vice president of Omni Investment Properties, a commercial real estate investment company. Earlier, he had been a vice president at Hennessey Financial, a commercial real estate lender.
