Due to the size of the College of Business graduate program, this spring will mark the beginning of a new commencement tradition: graduate students from the College of Business will have their own commencement ceremony, followed by a reception for graduates, families and guests.
The commencement exercises for the College of Business will include students graduating in May from College of Business programs, including students in Graduate Programs in Software (see related news story). The College of Business is the second school at the University of St. Thomas to have a separate graduate commencement; the School of Law also has a separate commencement. All other graduate programs share a ceremony.
