On Saturday, June 20, more than 9,000 people gathered on the grounds of the Walker Art Center and Minneapolis Sculpture Garden to enjoy Rock the Garden 2009. Hosted by the Walker Art Center and 89.3 The Current, Rock the Garden featured indie rock bands such as Solid Gold and The Decemberists. As a co-sponsor of the event, the UST Opus College of Business gave away more than 150 tickets. Throughout the day, college staff, faculty, students and alumni greeted visitors to the Opus College of Business tent, answering questions about the university, the college and the depth of graduate business programs and courses offered. In addition, staff and students handed out more than 5,500 flashing bike lights and 300 T-shirts to the enthusiastic crowd.
