REACH Summit Looks for Volunteers

The Office of Admissions is looking for St. Thomas community members who are interested in helping plan next year’s Realizing Equity and Cultivating Hope Summit.

The REACH Summit brings together Twin Cities high school students who are passionate about creating equity in their communities and in our world. They gather at St. Thomas’ campus to discuss important topics and gain tools they can use in their communities to enact positive social change.

The summit that took place in fall 2015 included a keynote speaker and breakout session topics on policing in communities of color; LGBTQ+ and gender equity; race, ethnicity, religion and economics; and immigration.

For more information about the summit, to get involved, or to recommend someone within the St. Thomas community who might be interested in contributing, contact Teron Buford.
