Santa Loans Available at the Credit Union Starting Nov. 14

santaclausvectorclipartThe St. Thomas Employee Federal Credit Union will once again offer the popular Santa Loan Special to any member in good standing who has an Equifax credit score of 600 or higher starting Nov. 14.

Credit union members can borrow up to $1,200 for 12 months at an interest rate of 10 percent. Bi-weekly payments will be around $48.50 per payroll deduction while monthly payments will be around $105. The Santa Loan Special will be available through Dec. 22.

Please note that this is a no-exception loan; the loan will be denied if the member’s credit score is less than 600.

Christmas Club members will be receiving their bright green envelope with this year’s proceeds in their mailboxes soon. The Christmas Club dividend of .25 percent will be posted Monday, Oct. 31, and checks will be available to be picked up in person at the credit union office starting Tuesday, Nov. 2, at noon. Checks not picked up will be mailed out to members Friday, Nov. 4.

Current credit union members can open a Christmas Club account at any time during the course of the year. Current club members will continue to have funds deposited into their existing Christmas Club accounts once again starting Friday, Nov. 11.
